WPAI Assistant Refund Policy

At WPAI Assistant, we want to ensure that our plugin is the right fit for your WordPress environment. We offer a conditional 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee on all initial purchases, governed by the terms below.

1. The 14-Day Guarantee (Initial Purchases)
If you purchase a new WP-AI Assistant license and find that the software is fundamentally non-functional on a standard WordPress installation, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your original purchase date.

2. Conditions for a Refund Because
WordPress environments vary wildly due to hosting, themes, and other plugins, our refund policy is technically based. A refund will be granted if:

  • You experience a critical technical failure or bug that prevents the core plugin from working.
  • You have opened a support ticket and allowed our team up to 7 days to resolve the issue.
  • Our team determines that the plugin cannot be made to function on your standard WordPress environment. (Note: 90% of issues are simple configuration errors that our team can resolve in under 5 minutes. Please reach out!)

3. Non-Refundable Scenarios
To protect our software and intellectual property, refunds will not be granted under the following circumstances:

  • Change of Mind: We do not offer refunds simply because you changed your mind or realized you do not need the software after downloading it.
  • Subscription Renewals: The 14-day window applies to the initial purchase only. Automatic renewals are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard to prevent future charges.
  • Third-Party Conflicts: We cannot guarantee compatibility with every custom page builder, bespoke theme, or aggressive security caching plugin. Conflicts with non-standard setups are not eligible for refunds.
  • OpenAI Costs & Outages: WP-AI Assistant is a bridge to the OpenAI API. We are not responsible for, nor will we refund based on, OpenAI API service outages, token costs, or the quality/accuracy of AI responses.
  • Flash Sales: Purchases made during heavily discounted “Flash Sales” where “All Sales Final” was advertised are exempt from refunds.
  • Serial Refunding: We reserve the right to refuse a refund if we detect a pattern of abuse (e.g., purchasing, refunding, and repurchasing).

4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact our support team at support@wpai-assistant.com with your license key, order number, and a detailed description (or screenshots) of the technical issue you are experiencing.
